Not exactly the Alpine experience, but still okay

You might think Jimmy Buffet in Maui would be the ultimate in Jimmy Buffet experiences, but, you would be wrong. This was a much more subdued affair.

In Maui:

There is no tailgaiting

No alcohol is consumed outside of the "Blue Parrot Cafe", which is not in the viewing area....you can either watch the concert or drink, but not both at the same time.

The crowd was older.....everyone had chairs to sit in and it took the crowd a while to get out of them....after a while things kind of got going.

It was actually kind of chilly out which didn't help. Overall, it was worth going to, but I wouldn't make a special trip to Maui just to see Jimmy Buffet. He's going to be in Honolulu on Saturday, so maybe that would be the one you'd want to go to if you want to see Jimmy in Hawaii.

I didn't get any pictures because they said no cameras allowed.....although I did see people with cameras....don't know how they got them in there.

Another thing was kind of strange.....the porta potties were divided into men's and women's....must be a state law or something.
