We had a three hour layover in Honolulu and got the idea to take a bus to Waikiki Beach and hang out for a while. So we caught Bus 20 for "Waikiki Beach and hotels", not realizing it made all the stops on the way. It took an hour at least to get to the beach. Actually, we never even made it to the beach. We started to realize it was time to head back to the airport so we got off the bus and decided to take a cab back. We saw a concierge in front of a hotel and he got a cab for us, only this cab turned out to be a stretch limo. So, we got back to the airport, had some mai tais, got on the plane and flew to Maui.
This two dollar bus trip to the beach turned into a tour of the city with a $50 limo ride back. Don't ask me why we took a stretch limo back to the hotel...I really don't know.

Obviously you have never ridden a city bus before? Now you can sympathize with poor people who don't have cars and have to rely on public transport to get to work....
yeah....and they don't even have a beach at the end of the line
